Vote Zack Fertitta for District Attorney

February 27, 2012 - (HOUSTON) Former prosecutor Zack Fertitta, announced today that he has received several key endorsements in his race to become the Democratic nominee for Harris County District Attorney. The Harris County Tejano Democrats, the Houston Black American Democrats (HBAD) and the Harris County AFL-CIO have all endorsed Fertitta's campaign.

"I am grateful for the support of these progressive organizations," said Fertitta. "Our campaign is picking up steam as we head toward an eventual Primary date. And, with the support of Democratic activists and organizations like these, I know we will be able to replace years of scandal and shady politics at our DA's office with the kind of integrity-based, justice-minded government Harris County residents expect and deserve."

Zack Fertitta, has been involved in the criminal justice system for more than a decade in Harris County. He is experienced in both trial and appellate law and has served on a Grand Jury. He will bring the DA's office into the 21st century by using improved technology to run the office more efficiently and he will ensure Harris County is using the most up to date crime fighting techniques.
